Bitcoin ABC

Bitcoin ABC (BCHA) is a cryptocurrency that originated as a result of a hard fork from the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) blockchain in November 2020. The fork was initiated by a group of developers led by Amaury Séchet, who disagreed with the direction of Bitcoin Cash development.

Bitcoin ABC aimed to maintain the original vision of Bitcoin Cash as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, focusing on on-chain scaling and low transaction fees. However, the project faced challenges in gaining widespread adoption and support from the broader cryptocurrency community. Bitcoin ABC's price and trading volume have remained relatively low compared to other major cryptocurrencies. Despite its initial goals, Bitcoin ABC has not achieved the same level of success and recognition as Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash, and its future remains uncertain in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency landscape.
